Summates 47" Universal Roof Cargo Rack Roof Basket

I picked up this roof rack as the first add-on for my new cross bars on my 2014 Ford Escape and for the most part I really like it. It feels like a really solid construction and I wouldn't have any concerns about placing cargo on the top so long as it is properly secured. It also feels rather snug to the crossbars even considering the fact that the mechanism is hand-tightened until I can get something in there to tighten it further.
Out of the box I ran into a couple issues. First, no directions were included with this. I was able to look at the pieces I had along with the stock pictures online and I was able to get it all figured out. However, if you didn't play with Legos as a kid, you may become overwhelmed pretty quickly. Maybe it's just a fluke and instructions might be included in all others...just beware. Additionally, one of the four small washers that connects to the from wind deflector was too small for the bolts that came with it. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience. The last problem was that mine came with a few scuffs on it. You're probably calling foul and thinking it's on me, but I did everything on the folded out cardboard box that it was shipped in so I'm confident I didn't scrape it.
Overall, I'm pleased with this cargo rack. It's secure, it looks good, it was relatively painless to set up, and it should allow for some extra cargo room. I would recommend this to others if they're looking to not spend as much as a the more costly well-known brands out there.

Framed Home Cinema Metal Sign Mounted on Rustic, Weathered Wood

It's always been a goal of mine to have a movie theater in my home and to decorate it properly. Well after 29 years: goal achieved. Since we've moved into our new house I have finally been able to set up a movie theater in the basement for everyone to enjoy.
I recently received this framed metal sign that's mounted to rustic wood and it's an absolutely perfect addition. Normally, these sort of things feel really cheap, but that isn't the case for this one. The ticket portion is metal and it's screwed tight to the wood frame. This thing is solid as a rock!
When you get the framed version, it comes with the hardware to hang it up already installed on the back. All I did was put a nail in the wall, hang up the sign, level it, and I was done. I couldn't be happier with this and it really helps pull the theater together.
